Sunni Jones-Ford is a licensed social worker who recently graduated with her Master’s from New York University’s Silver School of Social Work. Sunni currently works for Mount Sinai Hospital as a medical social worker. As a medical social worker, Sunni works with patients, families and interdisciplinary teams to create safe discharge plans. Sunni’s work often includes providing supportive counseling, crisis management, and psychoeducation to patients and their families.
Sunni is excited to join the Hip Hop 4 Life (HH4L) board of directors. Sunni wholeheartedly supports and believes in HH4L’s purpose, vision, and values. Without a doubt Sunni believes that all youth, no matter their background, should have the opportunity to obtain the knowledge, skills, and abilities to live up to their potential and live fulfilling lives. Sunni currently lives in Brooklyn with her fiancé and their Shih Tzu Russie. Sunni enjoys spending time with family and friends, reading and traveling.
